Tazzina Bistro is located in an old building on Main Street in Woodland. Inside the restaurant are shiny maple floors and tables that make you feel welcome.
I dined by myself for lunch on my second trip to Woodland. I had the smoked turkey club sandwich. It was served with bell peppers, pickles, pesto, smoked bacon and lettuce on focaccia. It tasted great the pesto combined well with the turkey. They give you your choice of salad or fries with the meal. I chose the fries which were crisp yukon potatoes and were tasty enough I did not need to use ketchup. I felt comfortable eating alone and the restaurant was not that crowded for a late lunch.
The restaurant also serves dinner and brunch. There appears to be a good selection of wines.
Favorite Dish: Smoked turkey club

Located at 667 Main Street, Ludy's first appears to be just your normal small downtown restaurant. However the inside and patio is nearly 5,000 square feet and can accommodate a school of folks. I would recommend the Baby Back Ribs at Ludy's. They are so tender and you can order either a half slab (six ribs) or full slab (12 ribs). The platters include hand cut fries and you have your choice of potato salad, beans or cole slaw. Try the cowboy beans! Great!
They also have a full selection of burgers an sandwiches. I have had the Miguel Burger which is a half pound of beef seerved with jack cheese, guacamole and salsa. Very good!
They have a blackboard inside that indicates which beers and wines are specials or that that they currently have available.
Favorite Dish: Baby back ribs. Tender as can be and with great sauce!

The menu features fresh fish, rabbit, rack of lamb, beautiful desserts, an extensive wine list and more. The food is delicous, the staff is helpful and attentive, and the atmosphere is charming. Lunch is served 11:30 - 2:00 and dinner 5:00 - 9:00. They are closed on Mondays.

Golden Dragon Restaurant is a pleasant way to quell the appetite you gained from your walking tour.
The Golden Dragon is very affordable and the atmospher is surprisingly subdued and intimate. Tell Mike that John sent you.
Favorite Dish: Some of the dishes I would recommend are Family Style Tofu (oh, common tofu is good for you) and you can't go wrong ordering any dish with black mushrooms. The Sizzling Prawn Platter is entertaining as it cooks in front of you. As a starter try the Hot and Sour or Won Ton Soup. Don't froget the Pork Buns, they are very moist and flavorful.
