Helpfulness
One of the best-known views of Yosemite. Half Dome, Vernal and Nevada Falls, and the Sierra Nevadas are plainly visible. Not always accessible during winter or early spring.

You can reach this point by road or on a Hiking trail. The views of the valley are fantastic. The road may be closed in winter if there is a lot of snow.
This pretty rock formation overlooks the valley at Glacier Point. In the distance, you can see Yosemite Falls.
If you are afraid of flying but want an aerial view of the Yosemite valley, visit Glacier Point. You will literally feel like you are on top of the world and the view is absolutely stunning.
Glacier point is located at the rim of the south side fo Yosemite Valley. It's 3000 feet straight down from the observation area.
