    4.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

    Clint's Deli

You enter Clint's on one level and decend to a lower level for the deli. The menu includes a good selection of soup, sandwiches and salads.

Favorite Dish: I had a turkey wrap. It was very tasty even if I did not expect it to arrive in a green wrap!

Crepe a la Cart: Brilliant Crepes

by MarvintheMartian Written Feb 19, 2005

    3.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

No picture yet - but I will find one soon...

This small shack is located on Main Street. They make fresh crepes and have a large selection of savory and sweet choices.

They were brilliant and well worth stopping at on the way home from a good day skiing.

Warning - we tried to get a crepe Saturday morning about 10am before getting the bus back to the airport. They were closed - we were so upset!!

Favorite Dish: Rib-eye Crepe - with mushroom, onion and swiss cheese. Mmmm
Cost about $8 including tax and that was one of the most expensive ones.

Horseshoe II: Plenty of restaurants - ask someone for advice!

by MarvintheMartian Written Feb 19, 2005

    3.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Nice looking restaurant - don't be fooled!

I rarely give poor reviews - however there are exceptions...

I will only describe my experience, I'm sure others have been here and enjoyed it much more than I did.

Arrived, placed in the bar area while waiting for a table - no problem.

Eventually sat down, ordered food - Alpine Burger, medium rare. Others in my group ordered similar.

A long time on we received a random order of our food...
My Alpine burger was well done with fries which looked very old and battered, another order was cooked wrong and came with the wrong side order, another order came with about 8 horrible looking old fries. While asking about our wrong orders the waitress left two meals in our view getting cold while she talked to the manager.
Overall we were treated poorly. In the end they offered a 20% discount which we accepted.
It could have been so much better if someone behind the scenes was organised.

by MarvintheMartian Updated Feb 19, 2005

    3.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

All of us eating at the Ten Mile Station

    Quick service mass produced food.

Quality fairly good and service fast even at the busiest of times.

Food ranges from soup, stews, chicken strips and fries, pizza and the usual!

One of those places you would be happy to eat at now and again!

Favorite Dish: Great to eat outside on a nice day.

    Starbucks: Nice Atmosphere

by MarvintheMartian Written Feb 19, 2005

    3.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Inside Starbucks taken from a easy chair!

Usual Starbucks routine - nothing special about the menu, however the atmosphere inside was very relaxing - a much more enjoyable Starbucks experience than most - although a friend said they were very slow at making the coffee in the morning!

the bar area at downstairs at eric's

this place is great, has a nice bar area great seating all over, and some of the best food in breckenridge. its kind of like a sports bar with lots of tv's all over and if a game isnt on then they play extreme sports videos. very cool place even to just hang out and have a few beers at the bar and order a pizza at the bar.

ohh and they have some great beer from micro breweries all over colorado and western states... just dont challenge people from wisconsin to a drinking contest, like some texans did... you will not win

also remember taht one beer feels like more then just one at altitude so with breck being at 9,600 feet 2-3 beers feels more like 4-6 for most people... just not as much for wisconsinites as we found out

Favorite Dish: the pizza here is amazing, and so are their burgers... but try the greek pizza there, it had olive oil, olives, dried and undried tomatoes, motz cheese and anouther type of cheese from greece (and maybe a few other things i dont remember) it was some of the best pizza ive ever had (and ive been all over italy) so id highly recommend that

Downstairs at Eric's: Cheap Eats and a Great Beer Menu

    Front Entrance

Laid back vibe, diverse menu selection and a decent beer menu (120 beers) makes this a great place for dinner. The prices are some of the best you will find in Breckenridge.

Favorite Dish: I had a whole wheat crust pizza with basil, garlic and tomatos. Being a girl from New York and a pie snob, I was very impressed with this pizza.

  • Burke and Riley's Irish Pub: Nice place for late dining out

by AlexMagnus Written Nov 13, 2006

    2.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

This is typical Irish Pub - very good place for late dining (open till 2am) and not pricey. Beer selection is OK, even though I would expect more beers on tap. Typical Irish menu including shephard's pie, beef stew, sandwiches, etc...
Entries are very generious - I could hardly finish my sandwich+french fries.

Favorite Dish: Shephard's pie - generous portion, very tasty, beef is really good

by Skigirl Written Mar 10, 2004

    2.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

This is a wild little find in a basement under a steakhouse you will be transformed from Colorado Rocky Mountains to the beaches of Waikiki . . . Its a fun little Margarita Bar with delicious ritas and a fun little taco bar for added pleasure. Its a cool place to hang out drink a potent rita and eat a cheap taco.

Favorite Dish: Ground Beef taco with a delicious golden margarita on the rocks with salt NO Cointreau only Grand Marnier.

Kenosha Steak House: Kenosha Steak House

    by CptCrunch767 Written Mar 9, 2007

great vib and feel to the place, friendly staff, a bar downstairs and up, excellent food

Favorite Dish: the burgers here are huge and are excellent, they also have guinness on tap , but if you order a pitcher of guinness you will get strange looks from EVERYONE there ... then when we ordered a 2nd one with our meal people started asking us where we were from , when we said wisconsin they were like ohhh that explains it. the bar tender said he had never poured a pitcher of guinness before so we kinda laughed at that, but this is a great place to eat and have a pint or two

Downstairs at Eric's: Best Sports Bar in Breck

by jcbreck Written Apr 25, 2007

Eric's is a great place to hang out and watch the game, or bring the kids to enjoy reasonably priced good food. There's an arcade outside the seating area to keep the kids busy if they won't sit still at dinner.

Favorite Dish: For the carnivores in your group - you've got to try the baked wings appetizer. They're spicy - but not so messy that you need to go take a bath in the restroom sink to clean-up. For the fish eater - try the Blackened Tuna sandwich. Of course the burgers are great too!

    Horseshoe II: Under new Ownership

by jcbreck Written Apr 25, 2007

Great News! The Horseshoe II restaurant is under new ownership. Eric and his partner's from Downstairs at Eric's have purchased the long-time Breckenridge restaurant and plan on making changes/improvements to it over this summer (2007). Look for a much improved, more upscale restaurant with a new name. You can expect the same great service and management as Eric's place, but don't expect the same food or atmosphere. They're not planning to compete with themselves.

Favorite Dish: Too early to tell.
