  • Romantic French Cuisine

If an intimate dinner with your partner in a small dim lit French restaurant where everyone is really French, they serve excellent food, and you are able to afford at least a few of the finer things in life, then this place is exactly where you need to head. The staff as a collective team was outstanding, you could order in English or French, and...

  • Get a little G

Came here on a recommendation from a good friend and co-worker. He mentioned that the calzone could feed an entire family and I laughed it off. My 2 year old son and I walked in, and I noticed a couple at the far table each with a calzone, and it didn't look all that large. I continued to think to myself, ok, that calzone is big, but its nothing to...

Alot of menu selections and our appetizer and pizzas were fabulous. It was a happening place this Wednesday evening and lots to watch on the many tv's. There was a wait list but it seemed to move through fairly quickly. Definitely worth the wait but many 2-seat and 4-seat tables so we were lucky and were able to sit right down. Bring your...

Boasting windows that overlook the ski mountain, this quaint restaurant was cozy and romantic. The wait staff was phenomenal and the bus boy was my fave! I had a tasty lasagna and I also sampled my husbands white lasagna (alfredo sauce instead of marinara with seafood) Both were wonderful. The tirimisu was perfect and the cannolis were decadent....

  • Run Forrest Run.....

Bubba Gump's has a friendly, casual feel. It's a busy, noisy restaurant, not somewhere to have a romantic dinner with that special someone. They have a wide variety of dishes, seafood and other, on the menu. The food has a New Orleans flair. The wait staff is quite entertaining and quiz patrons on their knowledge of the movie Forrest Gump. Lot's...

This turned out to be our favorite watering hole in Breck. It is about as close to a western saloon as you can find these days including an honest-to-god wood swinging door. Good vibes. Not too clean. Dank. Just what we were looking for. Did I mention the $2.00 PBR's? Hah!

Breckenridge Warnings and Dangers

  • Altitude will get to you!

If you are not used to being very high above sea level- be careful for altitude sickness!! Just be sure to drink lots and lots of water. This helped out a lot, they also sell herbal pills for this at many of the stores in town and lodges on the slopes. You might feel light-headed and get a headache as one of our friends did, and he was out for...

I was warned to drink a lot of water before going to ski but I did not take it seriously because I do not get sick easily. After a long day of skiing, I felt too horrible to go anywhere that night. I had much trouble breathing, chest pains, and just an overall...

I would like to first comment, do not be scared off by the price. One of my major concerns with tourist attractions is that sometimes the proprietors cut corners to try to get the price low enough to have people come out.
