Mainstreet Grille: Culinary delight on a budget
I'd feel equally at ease in my black gown or riding jeans. Comfy atmosphere, the chef trained at the famous Johnson and Wales. French influence but the steaks are prime American. Never had a dish yet I didn't enjoy. It's worth the short hop to Florence and less pricey compared to other quality gourmet restaurans.
Favorite Dish: I can't help it. Have to pig out on the clam appetizer in the yummie broth that I sop up with bread.

Alfonso's Super Taco: Forget Taco Bell
If you've ever been to one of the taco shacks in SoCal where the menu is on the wall, or where orders are taken through a tiny window by a friendly person who's second language is english, then this place is what you've been waiting for. The loud paint on the building's exterior belies the wonderous food that comes from the kitchen with a minimal wait. The Carne Asada Supreme Burrito and Veggie Burrito are great, and either can be enjoyed with a drink for around $5
Favorite Dish: The Carne Asada Supreme Burrito. Half way through this $3.80 Burrito, you'll look across the parking lot at the people visiting the fast food joints nearby...and pity them.
