by PelLihi Nive, little Irish Pub in the center of downtown Colorado Springs. Good beer and there's live music on several days of the week.

Downtown COS has many restaurants of different types. Along a street called Tejon, the center of downtown COS, you will find numerous restaurants to fit your taste. A very lively city, COS's downtown is very much a part of the natives' lives. Jack Quinn's is an excellent and authentique Irish pub-style restaurant, and there are various other bars along the same street. Also there are bars and nightclubs scattered about the city. Unfortunately, I have no car so don't know where they are. Jack Quinn's is a very friendly place, with live music, many time Irish music, and genuine Irish food. Not to mention Guinness and Harp's on tap, plus many others.
Not too skanky. Not to posh. However you want, really. Leave a Comment Theme: Live MusicDirections: On South Tejon, east side of the street.

Tequila's is a great place for the younger old people to go (25-40+). 21's are allowed too, as well as older people. Live music, dancing, alcohol, smoke... the usual. Never been inside, but get there early because the lines get long.
I don't think they care much. Wear clothes. You know, if you don't want a bunch of guys coming on to you, don't wear transparent clothing. If you're fine with guys drooling, wear what you want, but don't complain. Leave a Comment Theme: Live MusicDirections: Tejon, in/near downtown.

One of my favorite spots in C-Springs, Phantom Canyon offers a little for everyone. The downstairs offers some very nice dining areas, along with an nice pub for the casual diner. Upstairs is a little more lively with a younger crowd playing pool and throwing darts. The upstairs bar is also more casual than downstairs, often with a military and college crowd. Of course, the reason you come here is for the beer. Phantom Canyon offers a wide variety of great beers for all tastes. Like most breweries today, they have the standard IPAs, brown ales, ambers, porters and stouts. They also offer great, freshly brewed root beer. Their food is also good, with a few eclectic choices like "open-faced Mediterranean lamb burger" to go along with traditional 1/2 pound burgers and fish and chips among numerous other great items. Tejon Street in Colorado Springs from Colorado College down to Pikes Peak Avenue has lots of bars and fairly good priced restaurants. They have two irish pubs and Poor Richards has great pizza and salads. They have a couple dozen restaurants downtown and most are under 10 dollars.

The Squatting Chicken is a hole-in-the-wall drinking establishment that offers a decent place to watch sports and drink a few beers with the locals. They don't have much food other than pizza and snacks, but occasionally, they have a BBQ on the back deck. Drinks are cheap. Leave a Comment Theme: Eating and DrinkingAddress: Nevada Ave

I was staying at the Sheraton for a weekend conference. That Friday evening I decided to go see what the city looked like. My Taxi arrived and I asked him 'Where is a good place to go sing?' He took me to this bar with a funny yellow upside-down BAR sign. When I went in, the karaoke was going and it looked like everyone was having a great time. The music sounded great, so I grabbed me a beer and a karaoke book and joined in. Had a Blast, and closed down the bar. I think the place was called Robin Hood or something like that. It was on Nevada Ave. Would recommend that place to anybody.
