Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: I suggest packing clothing to suit all types of weather. In the summer you may need a sweater in the morning and at night. If you go into the mountains, you may need a coat. I would follow the common suggestion of packing so that you can wear layers. Frequently, in the summer we may have rain showers every afternoon for about 20 minutes. Don't let that discourage you - it will soon clear up - even though it doesn't look like it!
Also, don't feel like you have to dress up to go out to eat. In most very nice restuarant you will see people wearing jeans and sweatshirts. This town is VERY casual. There are only a handfull of places in town I would dress up to visit....like: The Cliffhouse, the Pepper Tree, some Broadmoore restuarants - but that's it.
Toiletries and Medical Supplies: Bring some mesquito repelent. If you're outside in the evening - you may need it.

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: The weather in Co Springs is quite changable. One minute it's sunny and warm and the next a cloud has moved over the town and temp's dropped 10 degrees. I always have a light jacket and umbrella in my car.

Luggage and bags: One bag with wheels will travel, but a backpack is nice to have for everything, from walking along shops to hiking in the woods.
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: hiking boots or shoes with a good tread
Dress in layers, T-shirts, under long sleeve shirt, with a sweatshirt/sweater -
Always take a coat
light weight for summer, but a good one for winter especially if you're going to the mountains. We can still have a blizzard in May or June, then the next day it will be 76F degrees
Toiletries and Medical Supplies: Sunscreen
Lotion
There are bugs but not a lot, there are mosquitos - I use lemongrass oil in my lotion to keep the bugs off of me.
Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: We like the collapsible water jugs; they're lightweight, fold up and can be filled with a couple of gallons of water for your camp
Don't leave home without a Leatherman!

Toiletries and Medical Supplies: I don't know what medical supplies you need for that, but be aware of rattlesnakes...No kidding, there are lots of them!
Photo Equipment: A camera is essential!!!! cause you'll find lots of awesome photo spots in this area. Just take a few hours to hike around, it's worth it!

Luggage and bags: I don't like to take much luggages but I know what it means to travel so here you will see no advices :-)
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Get sun glasses especially if you are going to drive a lot or through Colorado, because city is high from the sea level so it is closer to Sun. The brightness is really hard here so if you don't wear sun glasses, you will have eye pain which is really unpleasant.
I didn't believe it much and then I understood and felt that people were right :-)
Good pair of sport shoes or just comfortable shoes to walk in the mountains. There are plenty of walk trails

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Colorado Springs is a very outdoorsy place. Bring comfortable walking/hiking shoes. The weather is generally warm but that can change quickly (especially at night). Bring a sweater in your bag to throw on when/if it gets cold.
Photo Equipment: Plan on taking lots of pictures. It's a beautiful place.

Luggage and bags: Take whatever bags you want!
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Bring comfortable walking shoes. COS has the ability to be 70 degrees F. one minute, and 30 degrees F. and snowing ten minutes later. (It happened just last year) So beware of that and be prepared with a jacket and long pants should the day cool off. Typically, when the sun dives behind Pikes Peak, it gets colder.
It's hard to say what the temperature will be when. Colorado is weird like that. Last year it was 70 degrees F. in February! and much colder in May. Summers are pretty warm to hot (80s, 90s) but don't get caught on the mountain without enough clothing!
Toiletries and Medical Supplies: Well, if you plan on hiking, biking or rafting, a first-aid kit is recommended. Other than that, whatever you'd normally bring. Be sure to drink a lot of water, as it is dry here and at 6000 feet.
Photo Equipment: Bring cameras and mucho film.
Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: You should check on regulations on camping in COS's parks. I'll try to post that here as soon as I can get the info.
Miscellaneous: Bring trailmix, gorp, or whatever you call it. It helps on the trails and goes well with water.

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: At anytime the weather will change. If you go in the summer take a couple of winter
articles(heavy coat,etc.) and winter travel take a couple pair of short sleeve shirts.
You might not need them but trust me in this city it will be sunny,raining,snowing,and windier than Chicago all in differant areas of town but all at the same time.
Toiletries and Medical Supplies: Really no suggestions for this other than if God forbid you need a hospital, Memorial and Penrose are probebly a couple of the best in America.

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: I recommend that you have a good pair of tennis shoes.
Also pack all different kinds of clothes. If its in the summer it gets very hot there. Make sure you bring a jacket if you plann on going up Pikes Peak.
Toiletries and Medical Supplies: If you have asthma, bring your inhailer!!! Drink lots of water when your in the mountains. Dont forget to chew gum on the way down from the mountains. It will help pop your ears.
Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: Have sunscreen and lots of water.

Luggage and bags: Don't bring too much stuff. Depending on where you stay(hotel, cabin, etc), carrying big luggage around could be pretty interesting. Keep it minimal. And if you're camping or something, don't worry so much what you look like! You're in God's creation! Focus on your surroundings and not your appearance!
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Bring warm clothes...it snowed when we were there in mid-May and stayed cool the entire week. Layering is recommended. And bring something waterproof--jacket, umbrella, etc, because it can rain with little or no warning. :-) And when it rains it rains!! And bring sturdy, but comfortable shoes. There is ample oppurtunity to walk and hike and climb.
Toiletries and Medical Supplies: Bring the basic first aid kit! SUNSCREEN is essential. I typically burn anywhere, but in the mountains it is even worse. Even on cloudy days, sunburn is pretty common.
Photo Equipment: Make sure the case will protect the camera from rain, snow, impact, etc. The state presents many elements, so be prepared!
