Everything here has an absolutely great tastes. The regular menu has a variety of tastes to suit any mood. The specials are always new and unique.
I am not a vegetarian, but this is definitely my favorite restaurant in Denver. If you are the kind of person who is at least open to veggies and something other than meat, you will find something you enjoy.
This place is definitely not a posh atmosphere. It is something right out of Greenwich Village (the "Rent" cast would be regulars). What I love most is that the clientele is SO ecclectic. Aside from the bohemian types, you will see families, yuppies, and others mingling well.
If you go to breakfast/brunch on Saturday or Sunday (which I recommend for the Banana Bread French Toast), arrive before 10AM so you will not have to wait long...otherwise it may be 15-20min or more for a table.
Favorite Dish: My favorite dish is the Banana Bread French Toast!!
Maria Sandwich: portabellas, red peppers, onions, provolone on a baguette
Basque Pasta: garlic & shallots, poblano peppers, gorganzola cheese, & tomatoes
Polenta Encrusted Portabella Cap.
