Enjoy a great time at a Rockies Game!
The Spring and Summer weather in Denver is incredible and PERFECT for an outdoor Major League Baseball game. Buy your tickets online (starting in late-winter/early-spring, I think) and enjoy a fun time at one of the nicest baseball parks in the US.
Because the Rockies are not the best team out there (unfortunately!), you can buy tickets for a fraction of what they cost in the Northeast and other more popular locations.

Coors Field and the Colorado Rockies
Coming from Boston, we're used to a cramped old ballpark (we love going to Fenway, but even we are starting to wonder if it is suited to the 21st century) and impossible-to-get tickets. Boy was Coors Field a change from that! It is a gorgeous modern stadium, open, accessible and very family-friendly, which is a real pleasure to roam around. We were especially lucky to be given free tickets (ha! like that would never happen in Boston!) to a premium seating area, which further enhanced the experience.
Unfortunately - though fortunately for the visitor - the Rockies rarely sell out their games: a half-full stadium (or less) is the norm, and as a consequence it's easy to get tickets right up to game time. While we got to see a good ballgame, the park is an attraction in its own right, and highly recommended for baseball fans.
Get tickets for a Colorado Rockies baseball match. Major League Baseball season lasts from April to October. Coors Field, the home of the Rockies is a quite new stadium. The atmosphere at baseball games is great. It's like a family event. Everybody goes there. Watching the game with some fries, popcorn or a hot dog is a must. Try to watch a game on a warm and sunny day. Baseball games may last three hours or longer. To sit there for such a long time when it's cold, can be tough. Even with a hot chocolate.

This stadium was built in the late 90's, and its one of those new stadiums built to look old. If you sit on the east side of the stadium, you can see the Rocky Mountains looming large. The row of seats that is exactly 1 mile above sea level is painted purple.
One of the great new ballparks in the country. Now not to offend any locals, but the Rockies are not going to be very good this year, so go for the atomosphere and the fun of going to the game. Plus, with the altitude, you are sure to see a lot of runs scored.
I was lucky enough to get to see a game at Coors Field late in the 2007 season. It was during a remarkable winning streak which saw the Rockies win 14 of their final 15 games, come from 6 games back to tie San Diego, dispatch the Padres in a thrilling come-from-behind tie-breaker game, and make it all the way to the World Series. The night I was there he Rockies came from behind as well - beating the Dodgers 6-5. Matt Holliday, who should have won the NL MVP in 2007, hit two homers on the first two pitches he saw and the Rockies hit 4 homers in total.
The venue is fantastic - a beautiful park. I've had better food at other MLB parks though; in fact I was a bit disappointed.

This ball park is beautiful! Centre field has a huge waterfall/rock formation that goes off when a Rockie hits a Home Run. Plus you also get to see a great Canadian ball player - Larry Walker.
Baseball - Colorado Rockies...
Baseball - Colorado Rockies game. Coors Field is a new 'old-style' ballpark. Very nice and comfortable.
On the third deck you can see a row of chairs that's colored differently (I think they're purple instead of blue). That's exactly 1 mile above sea level. ;)

For sports fans, it's an interesting stadium. You've also got 2 brewpubs right there to do some beer tasting.
