From the Dinosaur Post Office I mailed Karen a postcard which I had picked up at the nearby Dionsaur National Monument. If you want to get a local postmark from a little town like this, it's important to hand deliver the item to be mailed to the postal clerk and ask for it. Otherwise, it will be thrown into a box and sent to some distant city for processing.
When sending a card from a National Park site, I also stamp the back of it with the National Park Passport Stamp.
B & B Restaurant is the only place to eat in in Dinosaur, unless you want to pick up a snack at one of the two service station/convenience stores in town. I had a good breakfast here and had the opportunity to chat with several local residents - mostly very friendly folks.
