What is really cool about waterfalls is the noise they make. I think they are very soothing. I also like the mist they make and just the way they look. Isn't amazing what water moving over solid material can do. This little waterfall was close to the narrow one-way road we were on. One could park their car and then walk down to it. See it from the top or bottom. It was a very steep waterfall with alot of power.
Hiking here is really cool... There is a lake, Bear Lake, which you can walk around. From the Bear Lake trail there is another trail heading into the mountains, paved up to a certain point. After that point the tourists thin out a bit and the trail gets more interesting. Keep hiking past a few small lakes up to an Emerald Lake... the view is beautiful!

A collection of fine art prints by Estes Park's nature photographer, Jim Osterberg, featuring Rocky at its best. Jim started his photography career after retiring. He travels to Alaska, Montana, Colorado and the entire Western States in the dead of winter to get some outstanding animal and nature pictures.
The best thing about the Estes Park area is the altitude takes you into another world. Clouds really do come right up to you, because you are in them at 8,000 feet.
This artificial lake has boating, golf, hiking, biking, and many other activities. There's enough here for a day of fun. A walk all around the lake should take about an hour or more.
The airtram will take you up, up, up! At the top is a breathtaking view of the mountains, hiking trails, a gift shop and some peanut-hungry, little chipmunks!
I don't know how ancient this movie theatre, but I was surprised with its architecture, because it looks like the church.
THE RIVER WALK
We enjoyed this quiet little river walk that runs thru the heart of Estes Park. Plenty of Resturants and shops along the walk.
