We used to go at least once a week.... and its one of the first places we hit when we are back in town visiting. There's a wonderful shady terrace in back... perfect for sunday brunch.

Yes, there is such a thing as Colorado style pizza. This is it - the mountain pizza style, which basically is a regular pizza with the crust rolled over, making a fat yet airy crust of the pizza. You eat the inside part of the pie as you normally would, then, you cover the crust with honey (bottles provided at the table). So each slice is a combination of your meal and your dessert. Also unique about Beau Jo's is that you don't order a small/medium/large, you order in pounds (the 1 pound pizza, two pound pizza, etc.) Prices are a little higher than other pizza places.
Service is pretty friendly here, although the larger pizzas can take a while to cook. As you might expect, dinner time on the weekends brings the crowds. This outlet of Beau Jo's is located in the Old Town section of Fort Collins, so you'll have the opportunity to walk off your dinner in the shopping district. Leave a Comment
