Favorite thing: Fort Morgan is a decent sized town of over 11,000 located along Interstate 76 in Northeast Colorado not too far from denver. Fort Morgan is the county seat of Morgan County. The town and the county were both named after a fort established here in 1865. The fort was named after Colonel Christopher A. Morgan, who died while serving at the fort. Fort Morgan is the birthplace of "Big Band" leader Glenn Miller and the burial place of Science Fiction writer, Philip K. Dick. The Morgan County Courthouse is listed on the National register of Historic Places.
I found Fort Morgan to be a pleasant town with friendly people, well worth stopping to see.
