The Rockies were the most fascinating part of Colorado - there is soooooo much to discover!!!
Hiking, skiing or just driving through the fantstic landscape - it is unbelievable!
See at least some of the Rocky Mountains.
Fondest memory: Again, the Rocky Mountains...mountains yes, like the Appalacians, but so different!
Favorite thing: a lone flower....Colorado has manyfields full have different wild flowers....I'll have to scan better flower pics....

Favorite thing: Colorado isgreat for any type of winter/summer sport or any type of outdoor activity that includes mountains, grasslands, rivers, or lakes!
Favorite thing: Gold panning is a big hobby here for a lot of people. I tried it, and it was a lot of fun... I found a little bit, too.... These streams are full of black dirt and sometimes even gold.
Favorite thing: The Black Canyon of the Gunnison is a unique landscape. No other canyon in North America combines the narrow opening, sheer walls, and startling depths you have here.
