I'm always trying to find nice beads/beading supplies for my mother-in-law when I travel. In Glenwood Springs, there was a wonderful little shop called The Silver Bead that we saw advertised at our hotel.
This location, easy to find in the historic district, was a great source of unstrung, and premade jewelry.
Everything was pretty affordable and the service was very nice.
As a cute little touch, when you're checking out they give you a choice of a tiny free gemstone bead.
What to buy: Beads, jewelry, and jewelry making equipment.
What to pay: About average for the unstrung beads, a touch above online prices for the premade jewelry.

This is a small little bookstore in Glenwood Springs, CO. They seemed to have a little of everything on hand - from brand new fiction to maps of the local mountain areas.

What to pay: Just about average for a Colorado bookstore.
