There's a few little shops along main street. It's really nice just to walk around. People in Gold Hill love their community and are really friendly. Have look around and meet the locals.
It's the oldest mountain school building in continuous use in Boulder County, dating back to 1873. It's an elementary school with about thirty students currently attending.
It's an historic hotel that was built in 1872. It's been completely maintained and still hosts many events including a murder mystery night (I've totally wanted to do this, but haven't yet).
It really gives you a feel for what mining towns were like in their hay day.
