If you show up in late summer, make sure to visit Orchard Mesa and buy some peaches. This fruit stand is Ernest and Ruth Ball's on G Road in Palisaide... just outside Grand Junction actually. The peaches are so pretty. One of the attached images is digitally alterred.

When my grandmother lived in Grand Junction, she lived on Orchard Mesa. Not too far from her house there was a peach orchard where you could go buy fruit in large quantity.
