Greeley doesn't have a whole lot to do, it is a bedroom community where those that live here drive somewhere else to work and play. All you find here are discount stores, convenience stores, bars, fast food and gas stations. However, there a number of museums in the area, Centennial Village Museum, the city museum, Plumb Farm Museum, and Meeker Home Museum. Other than that there are plenty of bars to enjoy a variety of spirits well basically variety of beers.

The performing arts programs at UNC are amazing - fantastic quality productions .. much better than the typical college fare found on campuses around the nation.
Frasier Hall one of the campus performance locations and it is the building where most of the rehersals and classes take place.
Flyers are up around the community, and the University of Northen Colorado website also posts the season online.

This is a beautiful campus and a great school. It has long been considered the finest teacher education school in the state. The great author James Michener once taught here, and the library bears his name.
In the world of athletics, They have recently moved up from NCAA division 2 to division 1. In fact the football team is playing Michigan State this year (2010)! Good luck with that!
As a Div. 2 school they twice won the national championship. That was in the late 1990's
Their women's volleyball program is also highly competitive.

This is an incredible model railroad taking up about 5,500 square feet. There are some 28,000 trees on the layout, each one hand made. The main line(s) of track are a scale 20 miles long!

One of the larger rodeos on the national curcuit, the Stampede starts the last week of June and culminates on July 4th. Besides the world class rodeo, there are rock and country concerts, carnivals, parades, art shows and all kinds of activities. Back when I would visit, the town of Greeley was probably about 25,000 and it would swell to double that. Folks would make the hour drive from Denver and from all over Colorado and Wyoming.

oh, what can I say???
Greeley isn't really that outstanding! I remember visiting Centennial Village with a group of Foreign students, visiting friends, going shopping at a supermarket at midnight and getting my driver's license back then.....
... and of course, studying hard... :-)
