Downtown Littleton has that 'Old Town' feel. Historic buildings with a lot of character. The time to visit the downtown area is during the holidays. Like many small towns in America, the city brings out the lights and decorations, giving it that surreal Norman Rockwell feel. Your best bet is walk around the downtown area (which is small, by the way) grab some lunch or coffee and hop on the lightrail. There's a stop just on the outskirts of the downtown area. You can take the lightrail right into the heart of Downtown DENVER -- where there's even more things to do.

The food is the reason!!! Don't miss this Thai Restaurant! It is recently remodeled and has a simple and casual ambience with an Asian flair. The staff is always friendly and efficient!

Favorite Dish: Poh Tek or Tom Kha Gai Soup is a great start!
Gaeng Keow Wan - HOT! You have a choice of Heat.....mild, medium, hot or Thai HOT!!!
Follow with the HOMEMADE Coconut Ice Cream!!!!!!

Every other dish we've tried has been great, as well!

The Buffalo Chili is great. And save room for dessert. Enjoy looking at all the old town pictures showing the history of Littleton. I take most out of town guest their. The wait staff enjoy talking to you, and the owner owns two other resturants in Downtown Littleton

Favorite Dish: The daily specials are always great.

The Melting Pot is by far and away the best spot in Littleton for dinner. While the price limits my visits to once or twice per year, each visit has been superb. Yes, it's a chain restaurant, but this location has a lot of charm.

Favorite Dish: S'Mores Chocolate Fondue -- this is a must for your dessert.

Denver's bus system has a number of shuttles that take you from DIA to various parts of the metro area, including stops in Littleton. Cost is $8 per direciton.
Denver's Lightrail System now operates in Littleton (starting July 14). Visitors can park at the Park and Ride lot, and pay .75 cents per direction. The train will take you into the heart of downtown Denver. This is perfect, since parking in downtown can be expensive and hard to find. Plus, you don't have to worry about drinking and driving.

Go to Roxborough Park! It is one of the most scenic areas around Denver. It will cost you a couple dollars to drive in, but it's worth it. When inside the park, take a couple hours and go for a hike. Around the scrub oaks and the spiring red rocks.

Favorite thing: Take the time to see Columbine High School, reflect on its significance and keep the memory of the victims alive.

Fondest memory: Attending my niece's graduation from Columbine was possibly the most inspirational moment of my life. Not only was I incredibly proud of my niece for her accomplishment, I was also overwhelmed by the optimistic messages from the students who endured and moved beyond one of America's greatest tragedies.
