The 115-year-old building is one of the most historic buildings in Loveland. It is one of the few remaining reminders of Loveland’s agricultural roots and is listed on the local register of historic places. National recognition is underway. There is a very active effort, by Novo Restoration, Inc., underway to save this building and restore it to its former glory.

The most modern water sports facility in northern Colorado
Boyd a favorite among water-sport enthusiasts. Modern camping facilities, picnic areas, a playground and a trail system round out the activities. This family oriented park is the perfect place for visitors of all ages.
You can go canoeing, sailing, fishing, windsurfing, water skiing and swimming.
During warm weather the park is popular for picnicking and camping. The area offers a variety of regattas, hydroplane races and other special events.
For some reason a number of artists who specialize in bronze sculptures live in or near Loveland, Colorado. For example the Lundeen family is one of the most prominent families of sculptors in Bronze that there is in the United States. Watch for their work. Along some of the streets and in some of the parks you will see many of these works of art.

The senic drive between Loveland and Estes Park, umm I think its called like Thompson Canyon or Big Thompson River, something like that
Even if you aren't planning on going into Estes Park, you should really at least go a little ways on this road. It cuts through the foothills of the Rockies and it is gorgeous. There are all these little places where you can pull over..and it is one of the most relaxing things to pull over, climb the guardrail, go down and sit on the big rocks and listen to the water in the river rush by you. There is also a little tiny picnic area alond the road. It's very easy to miss the turnoff, but it's a great place to eat a quick lunch. It's really pretty, and it's not commercial or anything...very private.
The Benson Sculpture Garden is located in a Loveland linear park. This is a wonderful respite from the highway and a good place for a picnic lunch. Note, I could not find any restrooms in the park. If you are a photographer, you will find many creative opportunities if you get down low and use your wide angle.
