Stagecoach Inn is a great place to go for buffalo and beef. The food here is very, very good, and they have an extensive, if not verbose, wine list. Nearly erotic. Anyway, they have great food. It's pretty touristy.
The price for the 5oz was about $14.00.
The decor is nice, and they have real gas lamps lighting the pathway outside.
I got the 5oz slow-roasted buffalo with a boisenberry gravy, or something like that.

A pretty large pub/bar in the heart of historic Manitou Springs that locals state specializes in Cajun cuisine, with a seafood restaurant decoration, this full stocked bar offers sandwiches, salads, steaks and seafood and are open everyday for lunch and dinner. They also offer quite a bit of selection from the infamous Marilyn's pizza next door. Thursdays they have open mike nights, and live music on most fridays and saturdays. Good service, though when crowded a little slow. Friendly festive spot in Manitou Springs. The evening of March 6th, had great and friendly service from a really nice waittress, and good food - going for the catfish poboy and fries. Rated : 4 stars out of 5. Leave a Comment

A very classy, very authentic Morroccon restaurant on the outskirts of downtown historic Manitou Springs. Run by a Morroccon family, this palace on the inside (plain on the outside) is decorated in traditional style with all the plush and royal decor one would expect if one was at a nice restaurant in Morrocco. Elegant and one of the best places in the Springs to experience bellydancing on saturday nights. Ample parking, friendly service. You are seated on cushions on the floor, and eat with your hands, to a 5 course meal. The price is outrageously high, but somehow very worth the experience as the food is good (though not plentiful in portions). Rating: 5 stars out of 5. Adjoining Petcy’s there is chocolate store. It is small one, so it is easy not to miss. They have good chocolate, chocolate candies, although quite expensive for my taste. Leave a Comment

We came across Adam's Mountain Café quite by accident. Nancy and I were doing a combination stroll/look for someplace to eat when I announced it was time to find someplace and settle in for some food. We had walked by many establishments that didn't quite meet our fancy that day when we came upon Adam's. We were first drawn to the appearance of the dining room - comfortable looking, but still out of the ordinary. Then we studied the menu and discovered that there was little "ordinary faire" listed, everything seemed to have an interesting variation to the hum-drum. So we went in.
As mentioned earlier, the decor was most enjoyable, the service was first rate, and the food was really a breath of fresh air. Five forks and two thumbs-up from me.
SALMON ENCHILADAS - Corn tortillas filled with mild white cheddar cheese, house smoked salmon, roasted sweet corn, black beans and scallions, finished with greens, brown rice, red chili, sour cream and toasted pumpkin seeds. A savory and unusual taste treat.

Mexican cuisine.
The restaurant is very busy as a rule, especially evenings. The restaurant is nicely and simply decorated. If you are a large group, they may take tables together and I saw it happens often because whole families come there. It has wonderful cuisine. For appetizer they bring chips and salsa, I also order Chile Con Queso. It is yummy… They have large plates, so if you are not into of much eating you may order less plates and it can be enough for you all.
Also be prepared to the fact that this place is very busy evenings, so you may have to wait for the next free table.

Sunday-Thursday 11am – 9 pm
Friday – Saturday 11 am – 10 pm
Sizzling Fajita is brought really sizzling. Shrimps.
I like in the Loop MARGARITAS. They are just delicious. They have two sizes, regular and grande. Don’t be in hurry to order grande, because Loop’s regular glass is twice larger of regular size in other restaurants. Grande is 4 times larger. So be careful with it. By the way, the price for regular size is the same as for regular size in other restaurants.

Uncle Sam's was less than a five minute walk from the Super 8 motel where we were staying. We had thought that we might try several of the ballyhood pancake palaces in the area, but after the first morning at Sam's we saw no reason to get in the car and go elsewhere.
The ladies who waited on us were great - treated us like regulars and were very helpful. The red, white, and blue patriotic decor was kind of "kitschy" but still fun. The prices were very fair, especially considering the bountiful portions served. Best of all were the terrific breakfasts we enjoyed.

This street vendor has delicious pop-corn with different flavors, as caramel, chocolate etc. Now they also have funnel cake. Also ice-cream, cotton candy.
