So you think Colorado is Mountains, Mountains everywhere? not quite. This picture shows what you would find in eastern Colorado. Rumor has it that even jackrabbits pack a lunch to travel around here. Mostly just sagebrush, miles and miles of sagebrush. To the east lies the rich, fertile fields of Nebraska. To the west are the famous mountains. But in between, its mostly sagebrush.
This picture was taken along highway 34, somewhere in the Akron/Otis/Yuma area. Its hard to tell exactly where, because it all looks pretty much like this. At least the road is good.
