Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: In the summer, if you go hiking in the mountains carry a daypack at all times with a jacket, bottled water, a map & compass, food (Powerbars) & pocketknife.

Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: In some places, it's a good idea to hang food, film, soap and anything else that smells in a bear bag at night. Ask a Forest Ranger.

Luggage and bags: If you are going to Colorado during the winter season, don't forget your downhill skiis or your snowboard. Ski-areas like Aspen and Vail are well known world wide.

    Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Family Travel

Miscellaneous: For more information and photos from the famous ski-resorts please have a look at my Aspen and Vail pages. I was there in the late spring, so almost no snow left for me...

    Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Adventure Travel

Photo Equipment: When shooting photography seriously in the National Park, you need long lenses to really get the wildlife up close and personal. Linda borrowed this beast to take some pictures of elk. I use a smaller lens and get closer.
