This restaurant had good food. We only ate dinners there and the hotels continental breakfast but were satisfied.
The first night we stayed we had their burger and fries special for $5. The burgers tasted great, were oversized and you can't beat the price.
The bar has happy hour from 4:30-6 p.m. $1 domestic beers like Budweiser and Coors. There is a great little patio area you can sit out on and enjoy your food and drinks.

Both of these restaurants have some of the best prime rib I've ever tasted! However, the seafood is great too. These are also about the only two nicest restaurants in town as far as class. The rest of the restaurants in town are good, and very laid back/casual.
Favorite Dish: Prime Rib!

The Branding Iron is a wonderful Barbeque restaurant. Take a few moments to sit outside on the porch and watch the Humming Birds.
For those of you that have small children they are in for a special treat. The High chairs are a saddle placed on a sawhorse. So your young cowboy or girl can imagine he or she is eating on the range.
Favorite Dish: I especially love the barbequed sliced beef. Adding to this is a relish bar complete with barbeque sauce and peppers. Don't leave Pagosa without eating here!
