An awakening! Between staring at the bottom of a pint glass through gold colored beer I can get an education. It was just me and the barkeep and we watched and talked about a documentry on the history of the far-right Nazi movement in the US for the first half of my stay. After this the locals started to wander into the bar area. What a friendly but scruffy bunch this is. The class warfare seems to be not an issue here. In the city it doesn't matter what bar you go into - you always feel sized up. Are you too rich? Are your clothes too expensive looking? Is the drink you order too expensive or too cheap? Here it doesn't matter. The restaurant is in the old stage stop building - hence the name. When a stage coach line went over Rollins Pass this building housed a restaurant, bar, and a now gone Inn. This place still has a bar area, a restaurant area, and a game area (pool). I will certainly go here on my next visit to Rollinsville
Favorite Dish: I've only had one item so far - the hot wings. Not too bad and the barkeep was very attentive - he gave me two napkins! I promise you fellow VT'ers - I will sample more dishes from here in the future.
