Obey the Speed Limit

  • Be aware of the speed limit signs posted. They change frequently. One stretch of road I travel changes from 25 to 35 in about 15 feet then back down to 30. I got pulled over by a cop for doing 34 in a 30. I fortunately pulled the "woman" card and cried my way out of the ticket. he was nice and let me go with a warning. I now drive like an old lady down these roads. I often see my "cop friend" and wave now.

  • Greenwich unfortunately id full of the "rich, I'm more important than anyone" types. You can find them driving their expensive SUV's while on the phone and trying to apply lipstick. They just might run you over or crash into you. These same types like to dart out into traffic while walking and give you the nasty "I'm here you must stop for me" look. It is quite annoying and soooo typical of the town.

    Make sure you check parking signs and feed the meter. The cops will give you a ticket...what else do they have to do in Greenwich?

  • Unfortunately when driving down Greenwich Avenue you must deal with stupid traffic cops who have no clue how to direct traffic. I prefer to park at the top of the Avenue and just walk down to avoid being annoyed.
