Luggage and bags: We are normally at Mystic for one day or for a quick overnight stay, so just a simple duffle bag or rollaboard will do.
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Comfortable shoes for walking around the various Mystic attractions.
Toiletries and Medical Supplies: Shampoo, hair gel, toothbrush, paste, contact lenses, contact solution, deodorant, razor, shaving cream, and lotion.
Photo Equipment: My digital camera and video camera
Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: Bring an umbrella...you never know....

Luggage and bags: Pack your gear in your seabag, and sling it over your shoulder.
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Deck shoes with the squeegie bottoms, I recommend "Sperry" brand. The rest of your clothes should be comfortable and layerable, as the weather is changable.
Toiletries and Medical Supplies: Bring what you'll need. There are no stores at sea. Supplies can be had in port. Sunscreen for those who are fair. Bag Balm to keep your skin moist in the salt air.
Photo Equipment: The sea is salt and there is spray, so your electronic gadgets may get finnicky. I pack a fully manual camera, a 1963 Hasselblad is a good choice. On board things are tight so a wide angle lens, and a portrait lens are best. If you're camera is electronic, bring some sandpaper to clean the contacts
Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: Layers are important, and foul weather gear is worth the weight. Sunglasses are a must!! Get a lanyard to keep from losing them.
Miscellaneous: Personal drinks are your choice. I recomend a gallon of water a day, as you'll get hoarse in the salt air. Rum is the sailors drink. Best served in a split coconut with the milk.

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Like most of New England the weather has the reputation of being unpredictable. Even in the Summer we have days hat require jackets, although that is rare. It's best to either check the weather forecast the day you plan to get there, or to pack a lightweight jacket. I believe both the Seaport and the Aquarium are open in a limited way during the winter months, if at all---so you will want to check that before going.

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Wear comfortable shoes as there is alot of walking between the marina and the village and other sites of interest.
If you're going in hot weather, wear a visor, sunglasses or carry a parasol. It can get very bright on the water.
Also take some bottled water in case you get thirsty.
