Favorite thing: Norwalk is a tough town to find parking you don't have to pay for. Most on the street parking is metered. There are municipal lots in town that charge a fee to park. We prefer ro park at the Maritime Aquarium Parking and then walk around town.
If you drive to Norwalk, like we did, you'll want to park your car and walk around the compact part of SONO.
There are a few public parking areas and this particular location was located on North Water Street, conveniently located near Washington Street.
You find a spot to park your car and pay the amount for the desired time at a vending booth. The prices are really resonable and if you don't want to be worried about your time expiring I would recommend on paying the $5 for a 24 hour period.
