Favorite thing: Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge's 16,000 acres is about 80% tidal salt marsh. With the increasing urbanization of the Northeast US, the refuge is increasingly important to wildlife that live in, or transit, the area. A wide variety of wildlife either live in the refuge or migrate through it.
