This place specializes in crabs, but they were out of crabs the night we were there, July 4, 2006. We were very disappointed, but we were with a large group and it would have taken too long to chose a different place.

All I can say is that my FAVORITE thing about Dewey Beach is The Starboard. My husband and I go every morning that we are in Dewey. This is the place to start off your morning with the best house bloody marys and the most delicious eggs bennedict ever. First of all, the house bloody marys are spectacular, but The Starboard also has the biggest "make your own bloody mary" bar in the...(I can't remember what it was the biggest of, but it was the biggest in the "something"...country, America, world...). Then, after you order up your bloody marys, you can order your breakfast including eggs benedict that is scruptious with either canadian bacon, lump crab meat, marinated strips of steak, or marinated strips of chicken. You get two with a regular order and you can mix and match any two from that list. We usually get one canadian bacon and one crab meat...SO GOOD! Now I'm guessing they serve other food throughout the day, but by that time, my husband and I have made our way outside to their deck bar for some drinks and music. I love this place. It's been rated as one of the top 50 bars in the world by some substantial magazine (I can't remember which one). It has a little bit of everything; inside dining, sports area (televisions), and an outside deck for drinks and fun.

The Rusty Rudder is a gathering place right on the bay in Dewey Beach. The food is good and kids meals are $3.00. Live music, great view, good place to people watch, all the drunks or people getting drunk. Service is on point. Not hard to find, just look towards the bay.

Very nice beach restaurant, good food and good view of the bay. At night this place gets a little crazy, it's party time! So if your not into that type of thing, don't go at night.

This is a popular restaurant in the Rehoboth Beach and Dewey Beach area. Pretty packed in the summertime so you'll have to wait at the bar area along with the people waiting for carryout; or smooze to get seated quicker.
Fresh seafood galore. Don't leave this place without trying the crabcakes! Restaurant's website shows the menu.
