When you are traveling and seeing as much as you can in as little time as possible, then sitting down for a long drawn out meal in a restaurant is counter-productive. Fast foods like McDonalds gets old in a couple of days. So that leaves sub sandwiches and pizzas.
Dominos Pizza is normally very good so we stopped in this one along route 273 while visiting relatives in the area.
We walked in and ordered a pizza at the counter and said we'd be back in 15 minutes.
We went to get gas for the car and got back in under the 15 minutes and still the pizza was done and ready to go. We paid the man and drove back to the motel room to relax and eat. (we could have stayed at the pizza shop because they have booths and tables there but it's more fun to eat pizza while in a prone position in front of a TV.)
So for $10 we fed three people (plus a little more for the pop we ordered). Good food, Good price. And we got to take a break at the same time.... how can you beat that?Related to:
