Every May the University of Delaware's Agriculture Department holds a plant and flower show. You can browse the unique creations students and faculty have nurturing all year and also get great deals on spring and summer plants and flowers. The show is staffed by ag science faculty and students who are great about answering even the simplest question. They'll walk you through the steps to making your home garden fabulous.
The show usually runs Friday through Sunday, the earlier you go the better selection you'll have because not everything can be restocked and this is a huge local draw.
