There is no one word to decsribe Bloom. It's eclectic, old-world, trendy and quirky all wrapped up in one little store on Main Street. You can find everything from nursery decorations to sexy panties in here.
I love love love this store and ransack it every time I have a birthday present to buy for a girlfriend. But it's down to earth enough that even my mom loves browsing here as well. There is a constant stream of new products coming in so there's a different feel every time I visit.
The owner is often working and can answer questions about pretty much everything in the store, or will find out for you whatever you need to know. It's fun to walk around and browse, but I don't think I've ever walked out empty handed.
They take major credit cards and are fairly inexpensive overall.

Liebermans is a bookstore on Main Street, a small shop with a decent supply of varied titles. During the school year, the store also sells most of the books students need for their courses. Prices are lower than the big chain bookstores like Borders and Barnes and Noble and the location is very close for people visiting the University. Theme: BooksAddress: 45 E. Main St

This mall is conveniently located to Wilmington or Bear or New Castle.
It is right on two popular highways (I-95 and route 7/1).
It is not overly large but large enough to draw good sized crowds when they have sales.
The big name stores include: Coach, Wilson, Bath and Body Works, CVS, Victoria Secret, Yankee Candle, Gap, Disney, Penneys, Lord and Taylor, Macys, Kays, Zales, Aeropostale, Borders, Lane Bryant, Foot Locker, Ann Taylor, Radio Shack, KB Toys, Lenscrafters just to name a few.
This is easily a three hour stop for my wife. Then we have to stop into at least one of the eateries (full restaurants and fast-food stands). So by the time we leave, at least a half-a-day has been spent (plus a few dollars from my wallet).
The mall has several layers, high ceilings, lotsa of light and noise. On special occasions and holidays they provide entertainment in the atrium areas. The local papers that the motels provide have coupons for many of the mall shops.

Fresh, organic soaps are available in a wide assortment of scents and ingredients (great if you have sensitive skin) and all year there are some neat accessories available for a garden or window box.
I enjoy just wandering around Grassroots, it's a really cute shop and the staff is quite helpful if you don't have any idea what something might be. Fantastic for Xmas or Birthday shopping when you want something unique.
Cute sterling silver jewlery and stoneware vases/bowls.
