Eat first, get snacks here

Go for dinner, play pool, play one of hundred or so video games. Virtual games, and 8 or 10 movies. Outdoor riverfront deck with live bands and...yes...liquer...BEER...food, did you ever dance with your kids? It feels good!

Dress Code: Casual, to dress to impress. Depends on what you are going for!

A few bars are on main street...

A few bars are on main street and just off main street. It's the usual college scene. Grotto's Pizza, The Brickyard, The Stone Balloon, and The Underground are some popular places to go.
They are just regular college bars with dancing, hanging out, and some live music sometimes.

Dress Code: Jeans, Khakis, Tshirts, etc.

Domaine Hudson wine bar & eatery: Downtown Wilmington DE is alive!

3 wine pours: 5, 3 and 1.5-oz

Downtown Wilmington, Del., is alive again with many great restaurants, a vibrant business district, and new, chic highrise condos and apartments. After 5 it used to clear out, but now people are lingering, or returning, to downtown to dine out and visit cultural attractions like shows at the Grand Opera House, including the Delaware Symphony and Opera Delaware, movies at Theatre N, and performances at the DuPont Theatre (formerly the Playhouse). The City also sponsors cultural events like Art on the Town and First Night Wilmington (on New Year's Eve).

Domaine Hudson wine bar & eatery is part of this renaissance. It opened in Nov. 2005 and offers upscale dining -- but, fellas, jackets and ties are NOT required! Get a great wine and food tasting experience here. Choice of small wine pours and small plates make sampling easy, and check out the awesome cheese menu.

Dress Code: Appropriate dress required (dressy, dress-casual or business casual). Please, out of respect for our other patrons, no beach shorts, flip flops or other super-casual clothes.
