 | Rehoboth Beach Local Customs | Tips 1 - 9 of 9 | | It is like a French Cafe` in the middle of Rehoboth! You will love the food here. Fruit Tarts, and Croissants, but the Fruit Crepes keep the locals comming back for more. Once when in town, we asked a poor (French) student who lived there where to grab breakfast. She recommended here, and said it tasted like home. We have been regulars ever since. Crepe with strawberries $4.75 Coffee $1.50 Muffin $2.75 Chicken Salad Sandwich $6.25 Leave a Comment

We are not sure why, but this is a local tradition, with vinegar, and the line can be really long, sometimes up to 1/2 hour wait for french fries. These are fried in peanut oil, which is still GREASY, so a small will do. Leave a Comment Phone: 302-227-8994Other Contact: 7 Rehoboth Ave.

Is there anything better than board walk rides when you are a kid? If there is, I sure don't know...Christmas, or your birthday are in this catagory. Oh the smiles, and F.Y.I. , makes a wonderful bribe all day. Example: "If you won't stop throwing sand at your sister, we will NOT go to the rides tonight!" HeHeHe. Leave a Comment

Cute shops, and the Crepe Place is here! A toy store, an artist who paints right in her window. An Alley between Rehoboth Ave. and Wilmington Ave. You can eat breakfast with the locals here. Leave a Comment

Started as one little pizza joint, now have 50 stores. It's OK, but we skip it a lot. I don't understand it, but people actually wait up to 1/2 hour to 45 minutes to eat pizza here. This is on my 'Go Figure' list for sure. Leave a Comment

You can not return home from the shore... without some salt water taffy! Dolly's has been 'turning it out' for over 50 years. Leave a Comment

Dogfish Head Brewery is why I came to Rehoboth. If you're looking to visit the actual Brewery however, it's located in nearby Milton, Delaware. The Brewpub is right in the heart of Rehoboth Beach on Rehoboth Avenue (pictured here). If you ask me, Dogfish is one of the better beers on the East Coast. It's widely available at good distributors all over the US. Their Raison D'Etre is probably my favorite. It's brewed with beet sugar and green raisons among other interesting ingredients and has a sweet, malty, complex taste. YUM. Leave a Comment
