Lotsa Pasta: We eat here three times a week!

by tpangelinan

Lotsa Pasta, say hi to Johnny, tell him Terry and Mike sent you. Have a Corona with a lime and a Godiva Chocolate Martini and a LEMON MOUSSE for us!! This is by far, bar none OUR FAVORITE RESTAURANT EVER!! We never put it up here because they have plenty of loyal fans already, and it is a secret spot. Pauline does an excellent job maintaining quality and a crew that serves top notch servics. 4 Star food, 4 Star service, and Cheap to boot! Lunch is an experience. Cutting edge menue, excellent choices. Not too eye catching, or fancy from out side, but inside is neat and clean and comfortable. Consistancy is always good, excellent cullinary delights. You see the same people here eating 3, 4, 5 nights a week. Don't ever say nothing is free in America, folks. Bread, Soup and Salad come with most dinners!!! There is hardly ever a wait, the fall seems to be the busiest season. We eat at the...

Dreamers Cafe: Taste home made, yet new and different

by tpangelinan

Area boutique cafe. Unusual items, old favorites made new again. Hot Wings are great. They have a great Hot Sauce collection on the walls. Tables are plain, no tableclothes here. Best to take out and eat at home. Hot Wings ar as follows: Lullaby, Sweet Dreams, Nightmares, Devils Revenge, Spontaneous Combustion, Beyond Smoked Bones, Bu8rnt Ashes, and my favorite....You must be CRAZY! Great Salads like, Turkey Bourbon, Jamaican Beef Jerk and Shrimp Caesar Salad. Soup and Half a Salad are a steal at $6.00. Lots of low carb choices. Over 20 Gourmet Sandwiches for 5.95, comes with bagel chips and a pickel too! Cheap as fast food, tastes like mom made it. Fast, clean, cheap and easy. You will love this place. 10 Wings are $4.50. Cheese Fries are 2.75. Quart of soup is $6.00. Cream of Crab soup is so wonderful. Soups change everyday, and are usually very apealing. Try the Monkey Flip or the...

Great salad bar, the breakfast buffet or the dinner buffet are tremendous bargains. The dinner buffet is all you can eat for $11.99. Hardly ever a wait, and banana foster with icecream is great! A must try bargain. I always get the buffet, but they have a HUGE regular menue also!

La Margaritas: Great fajitas and Margaritas

by LadybugQ

La Margaritas is located in El Mercado area of San Antonio. We frst started eating there in 1981-83 when we lived in SA. Whenever we would return to SA, La Margaritas would be our first stop after landing at the airport. Although we live in Kerrville, we try to get to La Margaritas whenever we head into the "big city". La Margaritas is where we first started eating fajitas, and introduced many friends to them.

Domaine Hudson wine bar & eatery: Epicurean alert!

by onthegoindel

Domaine Hudson wine bar & eatery immediately makes you feel comfortable when you walk thru the door, leaving behind the bustle of the street out front. It's clearly one of downtown Wilmington's choicest dining spots, if not Delaware's. Cuisine is Nouveau American. It has one of the largest selections of wines by the glass, offering them in 1.5, 3 or 5-oz pours, which is great if you're unsure about a particular wine or just want to sample a bunch of them without getting completely trashed in the process. It also lends itself to pairing a variety of wines with different courses throughout dinner. Extensive wines by the bottle list, too. Don't miss the artisanal cheeses -- cheese tray is great as either a starter or as dessert. Lots of yummy cheeses to choose from. The rare Ahi tuna and the wild salmon (both available as small plates) are delicious, and so is the free-range duck breast.

Temptations: The name really fits here.

by tpangelinan

This is a very cute, trendy old fashioned ice cream shop type store. A quiet place to have a secret meeting. Temptations, Serving lunches, ice cream, candy and full line of Godiva Chocolate. Get a chicken salad sandwich here! If you like ice cream, stop by here and eat with real in town folks.

Locals grab lunch here.
Del Rose Cafe: For drinks only! I hear the Bands are good.

by tpangelinan

Del Rose Cafe, 1707 Delaware Ave.656-3015Trolley Square’s award winning music venue and fine dining. Been here a long time, personally I think you have to be pretty drunk to like the food here. Drinks were good though! Some folks love it. Sauce was sour, I never like that. Anti pasta was huge, get it to share. Like cole slaw, it's all chopped up, not my bag at all, Aunt Pat didn't even eat half of it. Crab Spagetti was fishy. Ravioli was OK, Olive Garden is better. Sorry Del Rose, I hear you have great bands, but I would skip it for a meal.

Dead Presidents Bar and Grill: Good food, busy at Happy Hour

by tpangelinan

Hip strip, happy hour heaven. Nice booths, Friday night is very noisy, can't hear your date noisy. We did like the food, service was pretty good. Mike had Nachos and they were OK. I might go back, but not for a serious meal. Just a snack and a beverage. (302) 652-7737618 N Union StWilmington, DE 19805-3030
