This small town park has a nice paved walking path that bends around the south end of the park and up the west side of the park. The path starts at route 273 near the north end of Appleby Road and ends at route 1 where there is a dilapidated bridge on the Christina River. Off of this main trail are secondary unpaved but well-trodden trails that loop around and pass near the Christina River on the north side of the park.
The trails seemed to be popular with joggers but were not well-suited for bird watching.
Parking is limited too; maybe a dozen parking spots.

If you would like to bicycle on the paths and do not have a car, the DE DOT has a bus route that goes by the park and the buses have bike racks. Bus/Rail routes 23, 40 and 54 all access the area from other parts of the county. (an example of the route access is at http://www.dartfirststate.com/23/pocket.pdf)
