With the increasing urbanization of the Northeast US, the refuge is increasingly important to wildlife that live in, or transit, the area. As soon as you enter Delaware from Pennsylvania or New Jersey, the pace immediately is a bit slower(or normal). The police usually enforce the laws there and the drivers are a bit more courteous than those other states...they actually let you in to merge instead of trying to block you out then honking at you,and it's not a slalom run down the highways...the traffic usually adheres to the speed limits.
