Yea I know, jobs, money, etc. etc. but you know what else I know?
People in my neighborhood (2 minutes from here) die of lung and breathing diseases even if they never smoked a day in their life.

Not any dangers, but east Wilmington is not a safe place to be at night.

There doesn't seem to be any good way to navigate from Wilmington to Newcastle. Although some guidebooks recommend Route 9, this will take you through a depressingly poor area - while passing through, we saw one police shakedown and a streetbrawl...not bad for some 'local flavor', I guess! You will see cars with Delaware tags driving 55, 45, 35, 25, whatever the speed limit signs say, from Lewes down to Fenwick Island. There is a reason for that! Be safe! Leave a Comment
