This is a nice little diner conveniently located on the main thoroughfare (Pulaski Hwy).
We stopped in there for coffee and a snack on one occassion and for breakfast another time.
The breakfast was large portions of french toast on Texas bread (really thick and spongy) with fruit and with choice of three types of syrups. The coffee was fresh made and dark and hot.
For snacks, they had pie-ala-mode and rice pudding; we went with one of each.
The decor was pretty simple; a room with several booths against the wall and two tables by the window. It was tiled floor of non-descript color with wood seating and red/black coverings.
The staff were pleasant and talkative because there were few people other than ourselves in the restaurant at the times we were there. We absently left a camera (one of those enclosed type with 24 pictures you get for $6) with vacation pictures on the table and realized it that afternoon. When we went back to the restaurant and told them we had left the camera and described it, they kindly gave it to us (now that was nice!).
The price was very reasonable (under $25 for four people) and it was nice and quiet.
