This is a nice area to canoe. Katmo and I met there early (there was a line of cars waiting to get in) Canoe rental was $20 for 4 hours (32 for all day) We had a great time, it got hot out there, but the water was very clear and large fish could be seen the entire time. We also saw a gator and someone else saw a bear in a tree.
There is also a spring where people can swim and scuba dive (no boats allowed) it is 25 feet deep and surrounded by limestone.

When you are in a forest, you may encounter wildlife. Please leave them alone and don't feed them or disturb them in any way. I knew a grown woman who fed bolgna to an aligator!
    crazy!

Favorite thing: Take a break from your activities to look around you. Here we are watching a group of birds native to Florida.

    Fondest memory: the entire trip
