Its a free little protected area and worth a stop. Theres a nice view from the top of the water and a little boardwalk where you can catch a view of the local wildlife.more

Good for: Business
I am a long time resident of the area. I've been to RottenRalphs several times over the past 10 years. It has the reputation of being a tourist trap but occasionally I'vegone there for the view. I guess I've also gone for nostalgia, because the restaurant that used to occupy that location,Fasy Eddy's, was exceptional. Well, my last visit will be my...more

Whilst we were there, the Anna Maria Island music festival was happening. It wasn't quite Glastonbury but the dancing, margerita bar and man with a snake kept us entertained for the evening!
Segway tours are a great way to see the island of Anna Maria. Zegway by the Bay on Bradenton Beach is a great way to see breath-taking views of the sparkling turquoise Gulf of Mexico and the sugar-white coastline. Zegway by the Bay will show you how to get around the island and what to do while you stay.
It is fun and only takes about a minute or two to learn.
Feast on everything from local seafood to international fare in settings rich with elegance or rustic charm. The Pier on St. Petersburg's waterfront is a popular marketplace with unique shops, restaurants and entertainment.
