    the crazy fish bar and grill is located just off US 1 in central big pine key. the crazy fish bar's clientele is a mixture of locals and tourists. a typical keys type bar that is a nice place to relax after a day of scuba diving or fishing at big pine key.

    Look for the truck that has a big FLEA MARKET sign on the side. I bought some wholesale stuff for my daughter's anniversary - not at this stand, but it was wholesale jewelry. The marked prices were not the prices I paid. I think sometimes you can get some bargains and possibly some souveniers like painted floats.

    The Big Pine Flea Market is kind of a local custom. We go whenever we have wheels although we don't always buy much.

    I couldn't believe it when I saw this lady at the flea market, but I didn't get my camera working in time to get a really good shot.

    What she is wearing is a fanny pack/waist bag that is in the shape of a rainbow trout.

    most of big pine key and several nearby keys is a key deer habitat. speed limits are lower in this part of the keys and the speed limits are strictly enforced. there are approximately 800 key deer on this small island and they frequently cross the roads. be very careful when driving in big pine key.
