Upstairs, so great view of the water.
Favorite Dish: Crab bisque, made with real cream, served in a Huge bowl...superb!!! Steamed clams also very good. Grilled grouper good, but could have used some more seasoning & lemon.
Very small. Servers aren't real attentive to customers coming in if they are busy, so you may have to wait, blocking the door, until you can be seated.
Favorite Dish: Seafood combo was o.k. We thought the price was $3 less until we got the bill. Server wasn't real knowledgeable about the menu. We weren't happy. Didn't go back.
frog's landing is located on dock street in downtown cedar key. frog's landing is on the water so try to book a table with a view. a nice place to eat and drink and watch the sunset over the gulf of mexico. good seafood moderately priced.
the seabreeze restaurant is located on dock street in downtown cedar key. the seabreeze is on the water so try to book a window table. a nice place to eat and watch the sunset over the gulf of mexico. good seafood moderately priced.
Another one on the second floor with a view of the water from one side of the restaurant. Wait staff needs a lesson in manners. We were told to "sit anywhere" and when picked a table for 4 as far away from the loud music as we could get, waitress came over and informed us they usually "save these larger tables for larger parties." When we asked her where we SHOULD sit, she mumbled and said she didn't know! We left.
Another one on the 2nd floor with a great view of the water. Enclosed porch puts you even closer if you can get a table there.
Favorite Dish: C rab bisque, made with real, fresh crab & cream. So thick you could eat with a fork! Also fried small scallops were extemely well done with a very light batter. Special of the day was an oyster poboy that looked yummy too. Tooo many restaurants, too few meals!!!!!
Another one on the second floor with a great view of the water. Outside dining is available if the weather cooperates. Small, only about 10 tables inside.
Favorite Dish: Only did breakfast, but that was good. From what we observed, locals were getting the french toast and it looked good. Stay away from the biscuits! Mine was about 2" square, 1/2" high, very brown & hard & strange. If you don't think of it as a biscuit, guess it was edible.
Great atmosphere...2nd floor with great view of water/boats, etc. Great clams (fried strips, chowder and roasted). When very, very busy, service can be slow, but just relax & enjoy the view!
Favorite Dish: Fried clam strips....fresh, local clams with just the bare minimum of breading & done just perfectly. Basket brought to table with lots of containers of tartar, cocktail sauces & sour cream & butter. Anywhere on the Key, must try the local clams! If roasted is your thing, they are great also. Baked potato is iffy depending on how busy they are. Stuffed flounder is also very, very good as are the fried (local) oysters. Have not had a bad meal there/
I don't remember the names of the places I ate but I think almost every restaurant in Cedar Key is good. I had Mexican food 2 night and pizza 1 night and everything was great!
Favorite Dish: Mexican Food & Greek Pizza
