I keep looking for great things to do in and around Clearwater and on my last trip i went on this amazing, smooth very comfortable Cessna flight.
Flight excursions offer Sunset or daytime flights over the Tampa Bay area, the flight was truly awesome, my friend and me were stunned by the beauty of the sunset and the view, we would definitely recommend this experience to everyone!
The pilot was a very polite and friendly Scandinavian, he flew over the Sunshine Skyway Bridge and made this flight very exciting and adventurous for us, I was able to take beautiful pictures.
The price was worth it I'm considering on booking again.
If you are not coming to Clearwater with the express purpose of laying out on the sand and enjoying the waves, you will likely consider the Cleveland Street District as the official "Thing to Do" in Clearwater. This is a fairly urban suburb of St. Petersburg, and the downtown district seems to be recently revitalized. Cleveland Street in particular has gone under major renovation, including the addition of a island of plants in the middle of the street, multiple pedestrian crossings, and some urban art. There are multiple coffee, juice and ice cream shops, as well as a very large Christian Scientology building.
It would be difficult to list all the restaurants (over 20) and shops (over 30) in this area, so it is best that you just park your car and walk around this district.

There was quite a good lineup of artists at the 2009 festival . We really enjoyed Elvin Bishop the last performer on Sunday evening. Although he is best-known for his early-to-mid-1970s success as a Southern rock artist, but he has spent the better part of the last three decades bangin' out the blues.
