Somewhere in my stuff I think I have "Cocoa Village - The Historic Way" a self guided walking tour by the Brevard Heritage Council. We did some of this tour. But I can't find it now and I can't find anything on the internet either. The best I can do is what is this from Go2orlando.com.
"Local shopkeepers and the City of Cocoa joined forces to re-create the old downtown area as it was years ago. The end result is Olde Cocoa Village, a quaint collection of more than 50 unique shops and eateries along oak-shaded brick sidewalks and cobblestone streets. The Village Playhouse, originally built as a vaudeville theater and later used as a movie house, has been restored and is now used for live productions. The Porcher House, originally the home of citrus grove owners, is open for public tours. The Brevard Museum offers walking tours of the village."
This building at 435 Brevard Avenue houses the Florida Historical Library Foundation, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation. The Alma Clyde Field Library does not receive any operating funds from the City of Cocoa, Brevard County or the State of Florida. Memberships to the Library are $20.00 and $100.00.
The OPERATING HOURS are 10:00 A.M.-5:00 P.M.
TUESDAY-SATURDAY, so it was not open when we were there. They do have an online bookshop (listed under Other Contact)
