This is not your average fishin' pier, it's huge and you can find plenty to do here from gift shops, restaurants, bars, Live music, Bikini contests, beach rentals, surfing, swimiming and did I mention the fishing and much more. Built in 1962 it spans 800 feet over the ocean, the pier has turned into a local landmark. I would suggest checking out the website below for up to date info.

Riding the breakers is something to try when you visit here, whether trying a boogie board or a long board. You can even attend a surf school and buy gear and be on the beach and in the waves within 10 minutes!
Equipment: Ron Jon's Surf Shop is at the end of Causeway Boulevard, and the back parking lot is across from the beach entrance.
