This restaurant is awesome. The employees pay special attention to you. They have excellent food, and it is located right downtown and very close to the bike path. Dunedin has a lot of great restaurants, but this one stood out from the rest. They have a great vegetarian menu as well as traditional mexican dishes. Great Ambience for a little place!

Favorite Dish: The Ceviche. Yum. I'm a ceviche addict and this has been the best so far.

Sam's isn't fancy. In fact, the tables and chairs have a generic sort of appearence, kind of metal/formica and vinyl seats.

But despite the appearance, you will not find fresher seafood in all of Pinellas County. His specials are all fresh caught and therefore change regularly.

And they also do breakfasts, in case you find the wait at Kelly's too long or your tummy's-a-rumbling

Favorite Dish: I have to rave a little bit about a fish called the hogfish snapper. It's an ugly fish, but it's fantastic. White, firm, kind of flaky, slightly sweet. Sam's recommends it fried. I usually don't like fried foods, but this is no ordinary fried. The fish is so thinly coated in batter, so it doesn't get in the way of the flavor of the fish.

My husband loved the blackened mahi-mahi and my brother orders nothing but the fried grouper sandwich. I also ordered the crab stuffed grouper one day, delicious.

They also have a great appetizers of mussels in a tomato-based broth
