What a complete waste of time it was to visit the Garden of Eden atop the Bull & Whistle Bar! What a dump! Just a bunch of loosers sitting around waiting on some drunken female tourist to possibly expose herself. The facilities were terrible, and the area was much smaller than I expected as well.
The wife & I have visited local bars in Jamaica and other poor Caribbean islands that had better facilities than this dump. Save yourself the time and trouble... stay away.

This was Hemmingway's favourite haunt. Now much more of tourist spot it is still a great place to grab a beer and a bite to eat and watch the world go by. In the evening the place is jam-packed and even more so when there is live music on offer; then it is difficult to get a seat. Even though it is much more commercialised now it is still a good place to go and enjoy the party atmosphere of Key West.
Dress Code: Casual- you can go in wearing just about anything.
Where else can you find a gentlemen's club and Italian restaurant with great pizza--at Woody's Gentlemen's Club in Islamorada in the Florida Keys.
They have live music and all the amenities you'd find in other similar clubs but the number of staff is limited but friendly.
Dress Code: Shirt & shoes required and nicer clothes are always accepted however, this is the Florida Keys and resort casual or something similar is almost always acceptable everywhere.
After sunset, the fun is just beginning. When the night falls, chances are you can find a restaurant or watering hole to meet your tastes. Many bars offer live music, including New Orleans-style jazz and local tropical creations. If you like plays or musicals, you’re in luck too. Key West has several small theaters that showcase performances by local acting troupes. And the island even has a symphony now.

This is a repeat tip- I misplaced it before- sorry if its redundent-
Duvall Street is one of the great streets in America! It is a long strip located on the southern most part of the Continental USA. Cuba is a mere 90 miles away as signs tell you. Duvall Street is full of energy. Great bars, restauraunts and entertainment the whole street. Key West you can walk around with drinks as long as they are in a plastic cup(I love that!). I like to rent a moped, grab frozen drinks and cruise all around Key West during the afternoon. Everynight people gather at the southernmost point and watch the sunset. Key West and the whole Keys supposedly have the best sunsets in the world- they are gorgeous! Everynight when the sun goes down there is a party! Street performers gather at one end and do some amazing stunts. There are some great restauraunts on this strip so eat well. Then hit the bars- Key West rocks and Duvall street is where its at. Some of these bars get crazy. Clothing optional, body paint, etc. Fantasy fest is supposed to be one of the craziest partys in the world. Yes even crazier then Mardi Gras.
Dress Code: You can wear only Body Paint if you so desire. Lots of Hawaiin shirts- that seems to be the style. Casual
Everytime I am in Key West, I always end up at Rick's on Duvall Street. This place caters for everything: 3 bars, a DJ spinning upstairs, balconies to watch the crowds on Duvall, live band downstairs, and even a small adjacent strip club.
There is not much night life to speak of in the Keys unless you go to Key West. Most of the night life revolves around dinner and drinks.
Dress Code: Shorts, t-shirts and sandels.
