Bob gave me a tip : "go to Tiki Hut" and drink a "pain in the ass".
Sorry Bob. At 10AM, the bar is closed, especially in November.
I am sure it is splendid on the evening.
This message was written in 2002 but we came back in November 2003 and we stayd at the Hiloday Isle Resort in order to enjoy the resort and the Tiki Bar. We tried the rum runner but not the pain in the ass. May be next time.
After the long drive down from The Mainland, this is a popular spot for all of the loser-boozers to hang out when they realize that there isn't much else to the Keys besides tourist traps and bridges. And be sure to throw your wine-cooler bottles into the ocean, it adds to the underwater splendor that makes snorkeling so much fun.
